I rested A LOT this week. There was a lot of naps and sitting and doing NOTHING.
We ordered food in, we went to bed early, I took so many warm bubble baths. It was great.
I’m still not 100% from my bout of ear infection/vertigo earlier this week + the antibiotics I’m on are wreaking havoc on my GI tract if you catch my drift. I still can’t hear out of my left ear.
So I’ve been resting. It has been GREAT.
I didn’t use to rest, I couldn’t imagine spending this much time doing “nothing.”
Now, I appreciate it so much more.
Invest in your rest. Give yourself permission to just BE.
That’s all.

Good for you!! It is important to rest and let your body fully heal!! I got sick on the 31st of January…I’m patiently waiting for my body to get back to normal too!
So proud of you doing self care!!! As a woman, mother and nurse we always put our self last. You’re a better person when you include yourself. Brava!
I just hit your blog to see if you’re active again.
I immediately noted the new pic of the boys with the ‘new baby’ sign.EmojiEmojiEmoji
So excited for you, Craig and the boys on your expanding family. I hope the remainder of your pregnancy is uneventful. You’ve been plenty sick enough these last few weeks.
Take careEmoji
