Hello friends, I’m back!
I needed to take a step back the past few weeks. I’m still facing a minor health issue and there have been some personal issues I’ve been working through. It’s been rough but things seem to be on the up swing and I’m ready to get back into blogging and sharing with you all!
The boys enjoyed Christmas morning, we stuck with just our Friedman fam at home this year. They were so spoiled and they got tons of tractors. They’ve been carpet farming all week. We had fun shopping for the boys, we went to a local tractor toy store in Clermont, Iowa – they beat many of the big box store prices and the selection was incredible. We will be heading back there soon for Gannon’s birthday in February.
I’ve gotta give hubby a shoutout for always propping me up when I’m feeling down. He’s been super dad this past week, he’s always teaching Carver a new game, working in his activity book, or working with Gannon on his letters. Craig is a top notch Dad – he’s super intentional about engaging with the boys every night and it just warms my heart. He’s so patient with the boys.
We finally got to hang out with family on Wednesday of this week and we’ve missed them all like crazy. We opened presents and the boys were SO EXCITED to get a frisbee golf set. Georgia loved her cow girl boots from Grandma Jo and her Carhartt gear from me.
I love my air pods so much, I got a pair for mom and she also loves her pair! My favorite thing about my air pods is hands free calling – I can do the dishes, I can do the laundry, I can clean the whole house and catch up with my siblings or Craig’s family on the phone hands free. The air pods are definitely something that you can buy the “older generation” – the original version and still get a real quality product – I’ll link the kind I have and the kind my mom has here: https://amzn.to/3n8bXVZ

The boys played in the snow today for a good 20 minutes, it was 27 degrees here in Iowa. Gannon LOVED the snow, it was the first time he really got to play out in the snow! He did not want to come in and was (clearly) not happy about getting his picture taken! And yes, he had minutes on but ditched them before the pic.
Anywho, that’s what I know, a quick recap of our past week and my apologies for going dark for the past two weeks. Thank you for your understanding and for checking in on me!

I’m glad to see you back and sorry to hear that health issues are making life difficult. Gannon rosy cheeks says it all, brrr its cold in Iowa. Stay well and hang in there, it will get better and you are enough. just the way you are.
They are just too cute for words.
It’s good to have you back! Love seeing pictures of the boys…..all three of them! Craig is a very special dad !
