Holy cow, you guys, what a few weeks it has been.
I’ve honestly never had a crazier/busier/whirlwind week than I have had this past week.
Every day, I thought, “Oh, I should blog about that!” or “Oh! I haven’t updated the blog yet!”
I’ve heard of this analogy before about how “balance” is really a juggling act. Some balls you have to keep in the air and no matter what they can’t hit the ground because they will totally break (kids, health, family, etc.) and some balls you are juggling are plastic balls (for me that would be the blog, time to myself, date night) and those balls, when they fall they hit the ground and bounce and it’s no biggie.
Well let’s just say I dropped the ball big time on the blog. No drama, no apologizing, no feeling bad about it, it just honestly hasn’t been a priority.
HOWEVER, I could NOT go without mentioning HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Pink Shoelaces! I launched my blog 2 years ago today! I love it, I’ll keep it forever, and even though it’s a plastic ball that can bounce and hit the ground, I’ll always pick it back up <3
I couldn’t go on without also mentioning a happy heavenly birthday to my old man! He would be 60 years old today! I think about you every day and I’m not sad every time I think about you or talk about you anymore, your memory now has the ability to bring a smile to my face instead of an ache in my heart. I think that would make you happy to hear that. Gannon pointed to a picture of you and said “PAPA MOO!” the other day and I just loved that. Even though you’re gone, you’re very much still here.
I have many emails and messages and comments checking up on me and I so appreciate that, I do.
I am okay, the Friedman fam is intact, I can’t wait to update you all on the drama but for now, I’m off to keep the boys from wrestling each other!

Happy Anniversary! And happy heavenly birthday to your dad. I look forward to reading many more blog posts. As time permits of course. You are living life, working and raising a family. Thank you for giving us an inside to your life. Excited to see the new t-shirts too!
I just read your Mom’s morning post. Ya’ll have definitely had a nutso week. I’m glad Craig is out of pain.
Thank you for all your work with Covid patients in the ICU. I know it’s highly preventable and I appreciate you finding the courage within to deal with it day in and day out and maintain your own mental health alongside all you juggle in your daily life. You’re a hero indeed!
Take good care 🙂
Happy 2nd Birthday to the Blog! I sew enjoy reading your posts but I understand about letting bounce! Its okay, family and YOU must be a priority.
It’s nice that your mom keeps us up to date on your crazy life right now, so I knew you were just crazy busy! Family first, always!!! Glad to hear Craig’s mouth isn’t killing him any more.
