Craig turns 29 years old today! I wanted to dedicate a blog post to him and tell you more about him!

Craig is a friend to everyone he meets. He’s very charismatic and gets along with just about everyone. Craig loves going on vacation and striking up conversations with strangers for fun because he’s just that kind of guy.

Craig works as a hired hand on the farm I grew up and my dad worked for 30 years. He really enjoys farming but says he does not want the pressure of owning a farm himself so this is the perfect job for him. Craig went to college (where we met) at the local community college to be a John Deere Technician. He’s so smart when it comes to fixing tractors and combines. His favorite machinery to work on would be something with an electrical issue or installing GPS and software in the tractor or combine.

Craig is an amazing Dad. He’s always looking for times when he can bring them out to the farm to work with them or have them ride along in whatever piece of equipment he’s running that day. The boys love it. Craig gets the kids on the bus most days (especially when I work overnights) and has the kids by himself when I work night shift. Many other moms ask me how I’m able to work night shift with kids but it’s never something that has crossed my mind, Craig just takes on whatever responsibility he needs to.

So cheers to Craig! I’m so proud to call you my husband even though you say you never read my blog and probably won’t see this, I think you’re pretty darn cool.
