I’m SO EXCITED for EMERGENCY NURSES WEEK! Out of the 6 years I’ve been a registered nurse, I’ve only spent one Emergency Nurses Week NOT working as an ER nurse in some capacity. That would be October 2020 when I had just gotten off of orientation as an ICU nurse.

This past January I picked up a PRN position in the ER at my facility. I work at least 1 shift/pay period down in ER and I love it. I missed it so much, it feels so comfortable and right where I belong! I was telling my mom the other day, it really feels like my dream job flipping between ICU and ER – I get the best of both worlds!

With that, I’ll defer to a previous blog post highlighting the top 10 reasons I LOVE being an ER NURSE!
