My ENT doctor is hopeful that this isn’t a cholesteatoma, but it can’t be ruled out. The infection is better but still pretty bad and they can’t see much with all the swelling and inflammation. I have to go in every day this week to get my ear “debrided.” I’ve never heard of an ear infection like this before!
My pain is better controlled and it’s not draining as much. I also get to have a pumpkin cream cold brew from my favorite coffee shop every day this week so that’s a bonus!
