BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

If you follow me on my personal account @kalissageorgia on instagram, you know I’ve had a project up my sleeve for quite some time now.

If you recall, after COVID took down the Friedman fam in January, (read more on that here) I had this deep desire to spend more time at home with my boys. I have been fiercely determined to create something that brings income into our family that isn’t nursing.

My goal is to only need to work 2 shifts/week instead of the 3/4 I’m used to. This means I am hoping to bring in an average of $2,000/month.

I’ve been working and creating and brain storming and I’ve got the start of something I’m REALLY excited about and I’m going to be sharing it all with you soon!

Please MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Thursday, March 26th at 7 PM CST! I’ve created a Facebook event HERE to help you remember! I will be going LIVE on my Facebook page to go into detail about the products I’ve literally helped bring to life the past few months!

I’m launching an ETSY shop with apparel and products I’ve personally designed! You won’t want to miss the Facebook live where I go through the FOUR different items that will be my very first shop listings!

You’ll hear the story behind the products and designs I’ve put so much time into: Why one of my designs could have landed me in prison, see the rough drafts to the first drafts to the final products, and the one hour LIVE video will conclude with live Q and A about the products!

In the meantime, I know you’ve got questions, let me answer a few:

Is this an MLM or some pyramid scheme?

NO. Not at all, for real. LuLaRoe has scarred me for life. I’ve CREATED these products and designs myself.

Is there something for everyone?

Actually, no. Three of the four products are actually geared towards those in the medical field. I do have one item that is more versatile but the products make excellent gifts for the healthcare worker in your life!

Why are you selling on Etsy?

I’ve done a ton of back and forth on how I want to sell these products and Etsy makes the most sense right now. If I were to set up something through the blog, (like Shopify) it costs money and I don’t get the traffic of those who are casually browsing through Etsy. I hope to grow this line and be established enough to branch out and create an extension of my website just for sales.

When are the products actually for sale?

I’m not ready to commit to a date for sure but I’m actually hoping for my shop to go live the following weekend – so like somewhere between the 26th, 27th, and 28th of March. I’ll let you know when I know – things are still in transit.

I don’t want to buy anything, but I want to support you. How can I help?

First of all, I totally understand if this is you. Second of all, it is always so extremely helpful if you LIKE, SHARE, and COMMENT on my social media posts, this is no different. More specifically, if you know someone in the medical field, this first launch is specifically geared toward them and I would love it if you would share my brand and my blog with them.

If you know of a shop that consigns LOCAL makers in Iowa, Minnesota, or Wisconsin, please private message me and let me know! I’m making a list of shops to reach out to!

Anything else in the works?

YES! We have a BIG photoshoot for the blog coming up in April and I’m so so excited! But I have like nothing to wear! I haven’t been clothes shopping in so long, I’m not loving the trends right now, and the dressing rooms are STILL CLOSED at Target. AND I need to do SOMETHING with my hair, it’s a whole thing ya’ll.

That’s the BIZ update, I can’t wait to share this all with you, so much more info coming NEXT THURSDAY – see you there!
