I’ve had the passed week OFF! I’ve loved every single day home with my boys! Here’s a recap:

It’s been COLD this week – we are missing the warmer temperatures of last weekend – especially because we are supposed to get SNOW on Sunday 🙁
Look at Gannon crawling up the little slide in the first picture! He is my fearless little guy. He has a new word too: HOT!! When I’m running the bathtub water or giving him hot food we say “HOT!” and fan our hands – Gannon says it more like “ttttt” but it’s cute! He also has a sound for up which sounds a lot like “UHHHHH” when he wants to be picked up.

Carver enjoyed a Dorito burrito – he took a soft shell taco and put crunched up Doritos in it – whatever works I guess!! As you can see most of the Doritos fell out. Carver is my super picky eater – always hungry but very picky and an insatiable sweet tooth.

I was taking a shower early one morning and Carver said “Mommy, can I stay with you?” SURE! He brought his fireman Legos up to the floor of the bathroom and we chatted about anything that came to his mind. It was so sweet.

More fireman legos! Carver’s favorite toy from my mom’s house are her fireman legos. During the beginning of the quarantine mom brought them over to keep Carver entertained and boy does he LOVE his legos. I found footie pajamas in his size and I’m just OBSESSED with them! He looks so little and young when he’s wearing footie pajamas. We’ve decided he always needs to wear footie pajamas because he’s ADORABLE!

There was about three minutes difference between these two pictures.

Mommy got a little free time when the boys were napping soo…..

I started organizing our upstairs closet. We have 6 huge closets/storage spaces in our upstairs. This one in particular was pretty “junky” – within an hour everything had been gone through and organized! I can’t wait for thrift stores to open again – I’ve gone through and gotten rid of so much between now and then. There was stuff in those closets that was put in there in 2015 when we moved in and hasn’t been touched since and I was in a pitching mood! I’ve just about filled the attached garage with stuff to donate!

Gannon is so funny 🙂

Gannon crawled up on my lap and fell asleep the other day – something he hasn’t done in a long time. I took full advantage and laid with him just snuggling and taking it all in his entire nap. Now I know (having Carver) that these snuggles come once in a great while and I wasn’t going to waste it!

Okay so we were wrestling those adorable footie pajamas on Carver – Craig does a whole tickle routine that Carver loves. Halfway through, totally unprompted, Gannon came and sat on Carver just like this and tried to “feed” him with a spoon! For how much Carver picks on Gannon I figured Carver deserved a little grief from Gannon for once 🙂 All fun – all smiles – no Carvers were harmed in the taking of this photo.

Gannon kept trying to fit himself in this pot all week. I tried to keep him away from it but he would find it and pull it out of the cupboard. I finally watched him fit himself in there and then he was stuck and wanted out! He didn’t bother with it much after that.

That’s all I have for today folks! Check back again tomorrow at 0530!
What a fun week and thanks for all the cute pictures of the boys. I didn’t know they still made those footie p.j’s, Carver is adorable in them. Hope the week ahead is as wonderful
It was a week that you and the boys needed!! Total immersion family time! Hope you are rested and ready to head back to the fray of the hospital!!
Your boys are so cute!! Enjoy making many memories. The days may be long but the years are short.
I’m so glad you are enjoying time with the boys. I tell young parents all the time “enjoy every second, because you are going to turn around one day and look at your grown child and wonder where it all went and how it went so fast”. It seems like yesterday that my boys were the same ages as your boys and now they are 35 and 38. Unbelievable!!
Your boys are beautiful and you and Craig are doing a wonderful job! Use your own experience and common sense and don’t let critics tell you any different. Take care and be safe. Love reading your blog every day.
Aww nothing like cuties in footie pajamas!!
