A Few Weeks Off…

Back to the old grind! I’m back to work after taking 2 weeks off between my travel nurse contracts and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to be back at work!

Every once in awhile I ask myself, “Would I like being a stay at home mom?” and then I have a chunk of time off and I’m relieved to get out of the house again. I asked Carver, “Do you like it when I’m home every night like I have been or do you like when I go to work sometimes?” He said he likes when I go to work sometimes. I’ve had this conversation with him several times and each time his answer stays the same. I guess honestly, it’s really only Carver and Gannon’s and Craig’s opinion that matters and they are all good with the schedule we have!

But, I did really enjoy my time off. Carver kept me busy taking him to baseball practice and games. I managed to get the boys to the pool twice while I was off. We made it to a few activities and to the library. I took lots of naps with the boys.

I got a facial and had some “me time.” We had a cousin weekend. I hauled out and sorted through all the baby clothes. I totally deep cleaned the boys’ room. I ran a huge sale on my Etsy shop and cleaned out some inventory. I tried a few new recipes and found new ways to cook veggies. I had time to actually teach the boys how to cook.

So all this to say, I kind of started slacking on the last few days of my sale because I’ve been so busy with the boys. I actually found a ton of inventory to add so if you’re looking for a size or style you couldn’t find before, I’ll bet I have it for you now! I’ve extended the sale through next Wednesday, still 20% off!

All the inventory JUST ADDED! If you’re looking for a certain style or size, check back quick before they sell out!

Also, as I’m writing this post I went to get the link to my shop and realized I just hit 1,000 sales in my Etsy shop! That’s pretty cool! Thanks for all of your support.

Yea for taking time between contracts to lay low, play and enjoy some family time. How great for them to know that you being away at work feels OK and awesome for you to have their blessing to enjoy your career as well as Mom/Wife/Entrepreneur time.

I hope you’re feeling great at this point in your pregnancy 🙂
