This past week has been pretty chill.
Sunday (not as in like two days ago, the Sunday before) the boys and I were all sick. It was miserable and I actually called in sick on Sunday night to work because I felt so crappy. Craig went to work at the fireman’s pancake breakfast all day and went out with a few buddies afterwards.

Monday I felt much better and I went to work on Monday night. That ended up being the only night I worked last week! On Tuesday morning I met with someone who is helping me with a super secret project – I can’t wait to share with you all soon!
Wednesday we had an AWESOME night at home (read more on that here) and Thursday I was on call and I didn’t get called in. We also got a walk in with Grandma Jo!

I took the boys up to the school and we played on the playground while I roller skated on the cement – it was a beautiful evening. Regan ended up visiting with us at the playground, it was good to see her!
Friday I ended up in the doctor with Gannon AGAIN – ear infection. We had a wonderful morning running errands in town and I picked up lunch for my mom and I on the way home. I skated again at mom’s house in her driveway while Gannon played outside. Mom get her second COVID vaccine on Friday too! YAY!
Friday night my brother Buck came home and mom made the BEST pizza yet! It was so delicious I’m still thinking about it. It was good to catch up with my brothers and hang out at my mom’s.
Saturday morning I helped my brother Karl move just down the street to his new house! Karl is a minimalist and is so content with few things. It took about 3 hours to move everything down the street to his new house. I snapped this picture of him with his drinking horn while we were moving furniture.
Saturday and Sunday Craig and I had time to ourselves, but more on that in another blog post! I felt a little guilty not working at all last week but I remember that REST is also productive, I feel so recharged and refreshed in my relationships with my kiddos, my family, my husband, and that’s all wonderful.

It’s back to the old grind this week, some snow in the forecast tomorrow but should be back in the 60s at the end of the week!
So that’s where I’ve been! Thanks for staying tuned!
Does Karl have a place to put all of that?? LOL! I still have a smaller storage unit to go through, oh my. Does he have furniture?
Your week sounds great, hoping you are all feeling better now. We got about 6″ of very wet and heavy snow yesterday (Monday), hoping it all melts soon. I am sure it will. The red wing black birds are singing like crazy and I can hear other new songs too!
